about Paul Di Flauro
Paul Di Flauro is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who began his healthcare career at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA. Paul has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton. He later received a nursing degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Los Angeles. During his nursing education, Paul was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau nursing Honor Society which demonstrates excellence in scholarship, and is limited to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in their field.
Paul subsequently worked for on a Medical-Surgical Unit at Huntington Hospital where he developed an affinity for the surgical/urological patient population. His dedication to the patients and his leadership skills were quickly recognized and applauded and he became a Charge Nurse for the Unit. He was also a recipient of the prestigious Daisy award, which honors extraordinary individuals in the specialty of nursing.
Building upon his advanced nursing experience, Paul graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Azusa Pacific University. He was hand-picked by the doctors at Huntington Urology Specialists and has been a significant addition to the team. While working at Huntington Urology Specialists, Paul has enjoyed applying his surgical nursing experience to the urologic patient population. While collaborating with his supervising physicians, Paul enjoys providing pre- and post-operative care, in addition to treating BPH, ED, kidney stones, and providing hormone therapy. His dedication to his patients and his characteristic empathy are rooted in his nursing background and very much appreciated by his patients.
In his free time, Paul enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife Alieh and their dog Leo.
